Who is Kristen Suzanne's book for?

It is an introduction to the Raw Food lifestyle, either if you are totally new to Raw, or just looking for some fresh ideas.

It is designed to help you succeed with the lifestyle and deals with the problems you are likely to encounter as you introduce Raw food into your life.

What is in the book?

There are nineteen chapters taking the reader through all the aspects of getting started with the Raw lifestyle:

What is her style?

Kristen Suzanne provides an informative style without trying to sell the lifestyle too much. It is refreshing to see a very pragmatic approach being adopted, recognising that for one reason or another, whilst you may be keen to fully embrace the Raw Food lifestyle you may not be able to.

The suggestion of gradually adopting the Raw Food lifestyle is good, as is the advice to start off by "going Raw" for just one meal per day or just one day per week.

Does she have an attractive range of recipes?

Whilst this particular book does not include recipes, there are many recipes included in her other books and a look at the website reveals some very colourful and thoughtful dishes.

How about this for a three course meal?

Starter: Creamed Carrot Soup

Mains: Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto, with Flying Dragon Broccoli & Spiced "Rice" with Cranberries

Dessert: Double Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake

Accompanied by a Spicy Sunrise Smoothie.

You Can Have Chocolate Too?

Yes, it is Raw Chocolate better known in the Raw Food world as "Cacao Beans and Nibs".

It is claimed Raw chocolate could be the "new red wine" as it is the number one source of magnesium as well as the number one source of antioxidants.

Kristen Suzanne devotes a separate book just to chocolate, called "Raw Chocoholics Anonymous"
